Friends,
I have been going back and forth about the Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk II…
A couple of times it has been very high up on my priority list…
Then slipped down the ladder…
Have seen and tried on several different versions, but this time I think I found the one version for me…
The Girard-Perregaux Sea Hawk II, ref 4990 in titanium, 42 mm case with rubber strap!
Great looking, super comfortable on the wrist, an important link in the Deep Diver/Sea Hawk family…
And this waffle dial version just put it over the top!
Looks like a perfect summer watch, right?
Thank you to the owner for letting me discover this version!
Time to update the priority list again…
Best

this is not easy to take in photos. And yes, a perfect summer watch, suits you VERY well.
Always something to change the order in the priority list... Best Blomman
Same model, in SS, black dial, with bracelet. The only thing that holds me back is the plain black dial. I do prefer the waffle pattern like the one you posted.
Didn't get the same feeling for that one... This 42mm TI version with the waffle dial hits all boxes! Best Blomman
and later also the titanium bracelet. I have been wearing it in tens of dives and especially when the diving condition have been difficult. Why: First of all, it is perhaps the most readable dive watch. And Infind the power reserve indicator very useful in a diving watch. Secondly, titanium is the best material for a diving watch. Period. When climbing back to the dive boat on rough sea, the aluminium ladders always scratch steel watches. Sea Hawk is still like new. Go for it! Best Kari
You should show it here in the forum more often! Best Blomman
