Amanico revisits a Girard Perregaux Vintage 1966 enamel dial timepiece, sharing his enduring admiration for its design a decade after first encountering it. His detailed photographs highlight the watch's aesthetic appeal, prompting a discussion among collectors about its finer points and potential enhancements.

It has been a good 10 years I didn't see this watch. I could take some photos of this marvel some months ago, and I stil have the same feelings about that one.

A pure marvel, which needs a solid case back and / or a bigger movement, not especially in this order, though.

The 40 mm case is sublime, the enamel dial is just gorgeous.

Enjoy,

Nicolas

I would have liked to see the Breguet numbers applied though as an extra wish. In white gold yes? GP with their smaller movements. 😬 For a dress watch, they would have needed to finish it with skeletonized bridges and such. Then 100% winner. May I know the reference number for this one? Thanks.
