Crown comfort announces Girard-Perregaux's continued partnership with the WinterRace 2019 classic car rallye in Italy. This post highlights the brand's presence at the event, featuring iconic models like the Laureato and the innovative Quasar, a skeleton triple bridge tourbillon in a sapphire case.
For the third year in a row, Girard-Perregaux partners with the WinterRace classic car rallye in Italy. Having taken place from 28th of February to 3rd of March 2019 with 50 teams competing on a 550km route in their cars registerted before 1976.
On board was the iconic Girard-Perregaux Laureato and as well as the newly introduced Girard-Perregaux Quasar, a skeleton triple bridge tourbillon in an all sapphire case.

Last weekend, for the second time in a row, the winner of this year’s edition of the WinteRace on classic cars is the team “Sisti-Gualandi” driving a Lancia Aprilia from 1937. On this occasion, the Swiss watchmaking manufactory Girard-Perregaux rewarded with its iconic "Laureato 42mm” black dial and exclusive strap dedicated to WinteRace, the team “Sala-Sala” on a Porsche 356 C from the year 1964 as best father-son crew. During the 4th Porsche WinteRace, a competition of modern Porsche Cars which follows the same rules as the one for classic cars, the Girard-Perregaux team “Valli-Bozzano”, driving a Porsche Boxster S 718 was able to position themselves at the 3rd place of the podium.
