Emmanuel (quattro) introduces the Grand Seiko SBGW291 and SBGW293, two stainless steel references from the Heritage Collection that reinterpret the classic 1967 44GS design. He highlights their compact dimensions and the hand-wound 9S64 caliber, inviting community discussion on their appeal.

Especially on the custom strap of the first shots you are showing πππ» Seikoβs strap game is still behind what they can do with the watches themselves, unfortunately π€·π»ββοΈ But great fan of the GoD design language and the size ππ»
seems more in tune with the design. I also like the strap of the first photos very much. Surprisingly, these two refs. had almost never been mentioned on the site. Best, Emmanuel
And I really wish you get one soon! You were in my mind while doing this post. Cheers, Emmanuel
GS launches quite a few references and not all are popular / some only sold in specific regions, making it difficult for all to be mentioned here at some point ππ€·π»ββοΈ I guess these two are also not the references that get a lot of push from the brand π€·π»ββοΈ
. . . para mi . π
I havenβt seen either of them in real life and, judging from photos, I had the feeling that the monochrome look of the silver variant matches the design better, but I usually like warm tones very much and this chocolate variant could be the one which wins my heart over in person! Anyway, these are really nice references. Thanks again. Best, Emmanuel
