Hello everyone; this is my first post on this forum.  Mind if I share some pictures of my current Grand Seiko Quartz?  smile

Meet my Grand Seiko Magnetic Resistant (SBGX093) -

This is not my first foray into Grand Seiko; here is my previous SBGX063 (I miss this one!) -

About the Seiko Ref. SBGX063

The Grand Seiko SBGX063 is a classic example of Grand Seiko's high-accuracy quartz offerings, representing the brand's commitment to precision and finishing in its accessible timepieces. It belongs to a lineage of quartz watches that set a benchmark for accuracy and craftsmanship, often seen as a gateway into the broader Grand Seiko collection.

This model features a stainless steel case, typically around 37mm in diameter, housing the 9F62 quartz movement. The dial is characterized by its clean design, sharp dauphine hands, and meticulously applied indices, all finished with Grand Seiko's signature Zaratsu polishing. The 9F62 movement is thermocompensated and features a backlash auto-adjust mechanism, ensuring the seconds hand aligns perfectly with the markers.

The SBGX063 is highly regarded by collectors for its understated elegance, robust build, and exceptional accuracy, rated at +/-10 seconds per year. Its timeless design and reliable performance make it a popular choice for daily wear and a strong representation of Grand Seiko's philosophy of practical luxury.

Thank you so much for the kind words and the warm welcome; happy to be here! I have been through many Seikos and many other brands before finding Grand Seiko; I had been compelled to try them for some time and I finally decided to take the plunge a little while ago, by way of the SBGX063. As crazy as it might sounds to someone who does not 'get' Grand Seiko, I sold a Rolex to bring home the GS, LOL. From there, I fell in love with the flawless fit and finish and the super accurate, worry-free na

One (a spouse, for example) might say you clearly possess more "watch interests" than you have "watch restraint" - one primary definition of a collector, and one reason why you will feel a warm welcome from kindred spirits. How do you like that new GS? Mike
