It’s also not a limited edition, albeit a tightly monitored production (linked to All Blacks capped players). If someone pays anywhere near that asking price for this watch then I’m sorry, they are either very lazy or extremely silly. And at the same time kudos to the dealer who made that sale; he or she really did a great job.

that's crazy, but the guy wanting to buy does not look at it that way. Some might also think, if I don't buy now, I might miss the boat i.e. the price might go up. However, with most of these limited editions there is a phase, especially at the beginning. The Harrods black bay over $10k some paid, now market price under $5k. In most cases best to wait and see. My regret is that I did that for the Rolex panda 2 years ago😀
