Cozmopak's original post invites the WatchProSite community to consider the distinct aesthetic and horological significance of Grönefeld's creations. While many collectors are drawn to the renowned Remontoire, Cozmopak prompts a deeper look into whether the One Hertz might better embody the brand's unique identity. This discussion highlights the nuanced choices collectors face when selecting a piece from such a distinguished independent watchmaker.

My favorites were probably the guilloche + enamel combo dials.
all other things are not equal and at 43mm this is non starter. Having had several 1941 on the wrist it’s just perfect for me, and for many others. More traditional in sizing, and perhaps therefore more durable long term (in terms of fashion, style, wearability).
In all seriousness, though, the 1941 case is absolutely sublime. It is easy to be taken by the movements or the dials, but the 1941 case, to me, is perfection. And if that case is perfection, the Remontoire is the one to have, if just one. But as you can see, I couldn’t have just one because they are that good! These brothers make incredible pieces.
