Jim_94104's journey to acquire a new timepiece took an unexpected turn, leading him to a watch far removed from his initial considerations of a Patek Philippe 5226G or a Vacheron Constantin Traditionnelle. His spontaneous decision to embrace a H. Moser & Cie. timepiece highlights the unpredictable nature of watch collecting and the allure of independent brands. While deciding between the PP5226G vs VC Traditionelle (and also seeking forum members' generous input), I ran into this one and decided on it. It is completely different from the two I was considering but I can't quite explain but like this one a lot 😊

That dial really pops! Plus I love a nice central seconds hand👍

The Moser fume dial stands on its own….

You can revisit the PP and VC another time!

Thanks

my wife actually found them while I was at the VC boutique. She is not too into watches but somehow finds Moser pleasant.
