The more I get into watches, the more I realize that I'm into unique watches, ones not many people own. H. Moser fits that category perfectly- beautiful, practical, and very rare.
Now making bad friends *ahem Luis6* does not help, always showing off his Cosmic Green Concept and his Endeavour. Day after day I have become addicted, and I knew I had to own one. Then this year at SIHH Moser announced the Venturer Purity line, in signature fume and funky blue versions. I had the hardest time choosing between the two colors since one is pure class and the other one is, well, funky. In the end I went with the signature grey fume because I figured this probably won't be my last Moser anyway, and the grey + RG combo is just timeless. I'll save the funky blue for later.

I've actually had the watch for a while, finally have the time to post now. I believe I was one of the first in North America to receive the Purity!

The fume dial on the Venturer has a mysterious look to it! I've noticed the "vignette" is stronger on the Venturer than on Endeavour, enhancing this effect.

Once I have more time I'll upload the batch of studio photos, stay tuned! You can check out my IG @watchestolove for more photos=)

Maybe the only H. Moser I don't like...

...to shoot as it is impossible for me to get a "clean" picture without reflections due to the domed glass. Arrrgh I have tried and tried again but it's really not easy ! But to look at this Venturer is a real pleasure and the Purity dial is a very nice compromise between a regular and a Concept dial. Big congrats and wear it in the best of health. Mike

Thank you Mike!

This watch is indeed not easy to photograph, in addition to the domed crystal I think it also doesn't have AR coating. A cheap and dirty way to get around that is to fix a piece of white cardboard as close as you can over the watch (unless it's a really big one), this way it will block out most of the reflections over it. And I agree with you the Purity is a nice compromise, making reading time a bit easier but still keeping the simplicity :P Kevin

Here comes the bad friend.

I thought you should have anticipated this since the day you began to follow me on Instagram. So it turns out that a bad friend can sometimes bring good influence. Welcome to the Moser Family! Cheers, Luis

Thank you bad friend!

You are indeed good influence though, just not for the wallet. Thank you for sharing with me your valuable personal experiences and helping me learn more about the brand. Cheers! Kevin
