Last Friday, when visiting the Hentschel workshop in Hamburg, I ran into the first produced watch of a new H2 Sport with a mesmerizing blue dial.
The term βnew dimension" in the title of this post is chosen on purpose since the depth of this new dial really adds exactly that to an already very detailed and well thought through design of the Hentschel timepieces.
Texture and color of the blue dial are amazing, the corona around the small seconds subdial is not easy to achieve, and the dial changes its appearance against direct sunlight into a very dark midnight blue:
This watch crafted in bronze will be produced in limited quantity, there may be a version crafted in red gold later this year.he H2 Sport blue dial will feature the inhouse calibre 1130P on highest standard:
Now it's time to show it on the wrist..
As you can see from the wristshots and the next photo there are more new aspects to this Hentschel watch, especially when it comes to the strap and it's hardware. I will report on those at a later stage.
