Filip's acquisition of the Hermès Slim d'Hermès Blue offers a compelling look into a brand often celebrated for its leather goods, but increasingly recognized for its horological prowess. His detailed movement shots, featuring the impressive Vaucher caliber, highlight why this particular reference stands out. This article explores the design philosophy and technical merits that make Hermès a distinctive player in the luxury watch market.

I am not a Hermes person in general but this clearly deserves a good look. Is it slightly different than the Hodink** version?
The big Swiss houses could do well to take a page from Hermes's designers. I would have preferred a closed case back, as I don't prefer the everywhere-branded movement look. Overall a very nice piece. Cheers, John
Looks simple and elegant. Really like the microrotor movement too. Enjoy wearing it 👍🙂 Cheers JML
Yes I’ve started to appreciate them more and more. They’ve been able to create their own style in a crowded market. But no, I don’t own one. It’s on a list but in all honesty there are few other brands that I would like to acquire even more then Hermès But great watch looks good on you
How's the strap on this btw? I remember trying on a Tonda 1950 once and the Hermes strap on it felt a level above any other alligator strap I've touched.
Looked for it on the Hermès USA site — not there — is it a Paris Boutique edition?
