Andrea~'s reflection on achieving horological satisfaction with her Rolex Datejust and Cartier Santos sparks a universal question among collectors: can one truly be content with a focused collection? Her journey back to sporty-chic pieces, which she considers her 'perfect watches,' opens a dialogue on the evolving nature of taste and the dual joy and challenge of collecting.

At a certain moment of our " watch life ", we better sharpen our taste and better know what we want, dream of, need, and what we don't. Is it that bad? I don't think so, because there are so many watches which correspond to our " final taste "! Best, Nicolas
quite often. I don't have a Cartier yet but is coming, hopefully soon. The DateJust is perfection at its finest, as is the Santos.
It is exactly that... a case of me finding my own niche. I still love hearing about all kinds of watches, but I like wearing these over any other.
I agree with your statement on the DJ. It has everything I could ever want.
I'm the same way... But sometimes, it's also good to try something new! I'm really glad I tried the Bulgari. What a great watch! And I'm looking forward to trying the Chopard!
One obvious choice would be a Royal Oak. A little too steep in price for me right now, but a future possibility for sure.
