The sun was shining but the stars came out for the opening of Hublot’s newest boutique, this one on prestigious 5th Avenue in New York City.

Festivities began the previous evening as guests gathered for dinner at New York’s exclusive Lambs Club in the heart of Times Square.

Following dinner, we descended on the Music Box Theatre for a showing of “Shuffle Along,” the story of the 1920’s Broadway musical.

Media was out in full force as an eclectic mix of brand ambassadors descended on the 5th Ave. store on April 19th.

Six-time Olympic gold medalist Usain “Lightning” Bolt strikes his signature pose for the media. Known by many as the World’s Fastest Man, he is also well known as an enthusiastic ambassador for Hublot.

Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe addressed the media and guests outside the boutique during the commencement of the opening celebration.

Even the celebrity guests stopped to observe a pair of dancers, performing during their descent from the New York skyline.

With ropes blending into the building’s façade, the dancers appeared to defy gravity.

Stogie meister Carlito Fuente of Arturo Fuente cigars, Soccer legend Pelé, Hublot CEO Ricardo Guadalupe, Usain “Lightning” Bolt, and boutique architect Peter Marino join Jean-François Sberro, President, Hublot USA in the official ribbon cutting to mark the opening of the 5th Avenue storefront.

Even our friend Andrew Luff was on hand to share in the celebration.

PuristSPro was represented at the event by mods Andrew Luff and Todd Harrell…me.

Of course there were plenty of watches on-hand, including the new Sang Bleu, the result of the collaboration between internationally renowned tattoo artist Maxime Buschi.

All-in-all, the brand launched this boutique in a manner you would expect from Hublot. The beautifully elegant architecture made the perfect backdrop for celebrity brand ambassadors and fans who came from all corners to witness the christening of Hublot’s latest flagship boutique, right in the heart of the Big Apple.

Indeed! That's my second event with "King" Pele.

I\'m always in awe of his presence. He\'s my favorite Hublot ambassador.
