The ICON Duesey Is Here!

After almost three-and-a-half years, thousands of miles traveled and thousands of man hours utilized, the ICON Duesey Jump Hour Watch has arrived.  From the creative mind of Jonathan Ward, CEO and Lead Designer from ICON 4X4, the ICON Duesey timepiece is inspired by the instrument cluster found on the dashboard of a classic Duesenberg automobile.

Designed in California and manufactured in Switzerland, the ICON Duesey was made in a very limited run of only 50 pieces, each one individually numbered.  The ultimate goal was to create a watch that is both classic and modern, traditional yet distinctly unique - essentially a timepiece consistent with the ICON vechicle brand ethos.

There has always been a synergy between transportation and timekeeping.  Over the years, ICON’s unique approach to repurposing classic vehicles by utilizing technologically advanced underpinnings of the highest quality has earned Jonathan Ward multiple transportation accolades and universal global acclaim.  Ward’s unique understanding and expertise in transportation has allowed him to bring these same talents to bare in a timepiece.  We call it “Classic Design Revisited In A Modern Context”.

The ICON Duesey is not some pre-existing watch that has been stamped with the ICON logo.  In fact, this project was started from scratch with nothing but passion and a desire to create something as unique as the ICON 4X4 brand of vehicles.  From bezel to buckle, untold hours were spent making hundreds of sketches, evaluating hundreds of material types to ensure the uniqueness of this watch.  Every detail has been crafted specifically for this timepiece, of which only 50 examples have been manufactured.  Featuring a jump hour display with wandering minutes, the ICON Duesey measures 42mm’s and is assembled with a globally-serviceable Swiss movement.

The dial is comprised of a single piece of highly polished onyx.  The jump hour and wandering minute apertures are framed by highly polished stainless steel inserts.  The case is made of titanium and the bezel is also made of titanium, which has been polished to a mirror finish.  The ICON Lizard logo rides atop the onion crown and the timepiece is fitted with anti-reflective crystals both front and back.  The familiar ICON Lizard Logo is displayed prominently on the winding rotor and the watch ships with a genuine alligator strap.

The watch ships in a specially designed box that not only houses the ICON Duesey, but also has space to store five more (ICON) watches.

Due to an incredibly successful presale, supplies are limited.  So don’t delay, visit ICON4X4.com to order your ICON Duesey Jump Hour Timepiece today!

Have A Great Weekend Everyone!

Don't name non-iconic watches "Icon'

Don't name an an anonymous person 'world famous', and so on. Affectionately, M

Hi Mostel, I Feel The Need To Correct You...

... As I did not use the term "World Famous". Rather."...multiple transportation accolades and universal global acclaim" The watch is called "The ICON Duesey". The company that designed and produced the watch is called ICON. Magnanimously, - Scott

Chuckle, I was just being silly...

Thanks. To name an unknown 'object' Icon seems silly... but I'm just offering --hopefully -- a tad of humor.
