It's about community! It's the 10th Anniversary of ThePuristS as a community site - May 30th. In celebration, we are planning a blow out bash for 4 days/3 nights in Las Vegas, NV
Alex Ghotbi, the very first poster when ThePuristS launched the first Audemars Piguet independent but factory recognized forum in the world; a good friend and valued member of the community who has gone on to great things in the industry - Alex is the moderator of the exemplary VC in house forum The HourLounge and full time employee of Vacheron Constantin yet has never forgotten us here in his "old neighborhood" - he has committed to bringing his family to come celebrate with us! hey, we all get to wish the understanding Mrs Ghotbi happy anniversary, as Alex so wisely chose May 30 as his wedding anniversary too - so he has 500,000 fellow PuristS to help make sure he never forgets!
Kari Voutilainen, near and dear to the heart of every Purist as one of the greatest living watchmakers, who also happens to be a very decent human being, has committed to bringing his family!
Ludovic Ballouard, master of the spring lever and creator of the very coveted Upside Down, will be joining us with Mr. Masaki Saito!
AP, as founding brand, will be participating in very exciting ways!

over the past two weeks I've visited with our European PuristS in Paris; our firends and fellow PuristS in the trade, in Geneva; our Asian PuristS in Singapore and Hon Kong; our Down Under PuristS in Melbourne and Perth; and of course our US PuristS in New York and Los Angeles. The response has been fantastic! This will be a truly global celebration of community, knowing no borders. Having just had some local get-togethers with a handful of Purists which took me a couple of days to recover from, I can just imagine that IGOTT2 is going to be the same but multiplied many times over. It will be great fun, but factor in a few days to recover! I will certainly be there. Hope all the organization goes smoothly. Andrew

Happy Ten Year Anniversary! Can't wait!
When I told them that there were chances I go to L.V and L.A next year, my wife AND My Daughter ( who believes that this jfdjndd Dora lives in California and who wants to meet her... Any daughter here who wants t make my daughter believes SHE is DORA? ) told me that THEY wanted to attend to! So we'll be 3 more... Wil take the plane tickets very soon.
