I simply don't inherently care as much for the exact level of movement finishing as I do for my holistic opinion and feeling for the watch. The movement finish can be by far the best one of a certain selection of pieces, and I will still go with the watch which speaks most to my heart. I am thus precluded from making such 'coldly calculated' choices when it comes to timepieces . Cheers, Filip

I started to buy watches in 2017 and began to appreciate independent watchmaking in 2019. I chose my pieces based on my own experience and taste. That's why I have only a minimal knowledge of finishing, even though I've tried most of them.
