About the MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual EVO Ref. 03.TL.G

The MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual EVO represents a significant evolution within the brand's acclaimed Legacy Machine series, which itself marked a pivotal shift for MB&F towards reinterpreting traditional horology through their distinctive lens. Launched in 2020, the EVO line builds upon the groundbreaking LM Perpetual, first introduced in 2015, by enhancing its robustness and wearability. This particular iteration, with its vibrant green CVD dial, continues MB&F's tradition of offering compelling colorways that highlight the intricate three-dimensional architecture of their movements.

Technically, the LM Perpetual EVO is distinguished by its innovative perpetual calendar movement, co-developed with Stephen McDonnell. Unlike conventional perpetual calendars, this caliber features a 'mechanical processor' that eliminates the risk of damage when adjusting the date and ensures all months default to 28 days, adding the necessary days as required. The watch's design language is characterized by the prominent flying balance wheel suspended above the dial, flanked by three sub-dials displaying hours/minutes, date, and power reserve. The EVO variant introduces a screw-down crown, 80 meters of water resistance, and an integrated rubber strap with a FlexRing shock absorption system, making it MB&F's most resilient high-horology creation to date.

As an independent brand, MB&F occupies a unique and highly respected position in the luxury watch market. The Legacy Machine Perpetual EVO, especially in its striking green dial configuration, appeals to collectors who value both avant-garde design and serious horological innovation. Its limited production and the brand's reputation for pushing boundaries contribute to its strong collectibility and desirability. This model successfully marries the intricate beauty of a traditional complication with the practical demands of a contemporary, active lifestyle, solidifying its place as a significant piece for discerning enthusiasts.

Love your agreement with how glorious this is, though to be fair to the British and others, the craft of making mechanical timepieces has many styles and 'languages'.

MB&F's LM watchmaking is exactly that, legacy at the highest level. This lovely LMSE has a plethora of exactly as desired, my dreams and wishes as a LM. jmho
