Champthekid shares the story of reacquiring his IWC Ref. 3786, a limited edition split-second chronograph that holds significant personal value. His post highlights the enduring appeal of this 44mm timepiece, which predates the larger 46mm Top Gun variant. This reacquisition underscores the emotional connection collectors often form with specific references, making certain watches irreplaceable.

This is my second one because I mistakenly sold the first one I bought about 10 years ago. This one is staying😁. Have a great rest of your weekend folks!

44mm in a limited edition of 1000 examples released around 2006. Split second chronograph pre the larger 46mm Top Gun version πŸ‘πŸ˜

I recently tried the 41mm ceratanium and if not for the price I’d have bought it then and there. I think I’ll go for it, hope to buy one soon. 🀞🏼
