IWC Boutique finally open at ION Orchard Singapore, yesterday - 21 July 2009.

To celebrate another milestone of IWC and the soft opening of the Boutique, a rare collection
of iconic museum pieces were brought in for display at exhibition area of  the boutique.

The exciting museum pieces include the remarkable II Destriero Scafusia created to
commemorate IWC's 125th Anniversary in 1993(in limited edition of 125 pieces)
featuring 21 displays and functions which was considered to be the most complicated
wristwatch at that time; Lepine Pocket watch with digital display(Pallweber calibre),
Savonette pocket watch Jones Calibre, Portuguese Ref 325 (1939) and
a few more which you should catch a look before they are
returned to IWC museum in a month time.

The Boutique also carries all limited editions and exclusive pieces.
2 special pieces worth mentioning are the Portuguese Minute Repeater Skelette and
the Grande Complication.

The opening of this first standalone IWC Boutique in Singapore has been challenging and exciting.
The spectacular opening happened with the hardwork and many sleepless night
and fine attention to details of a team of IWC staff, living up to
the philosophy of
“Probus Scafusia” – Good, solid craftsmanship from Schaffhausen

Like a watch, it elicits emotion and enable us to appreciate more if we know the works done
by an individual or a team, likewise for this IWC Boutique,
I hope we could feel and join in the adrenalin rush of the works behind the scene
and
the celebration of the opening.
