His post invites fellow collectors to share their own IWC timepieces, creating a dynamic visual and anecdotal exchange that underscores the enduring appeal and personal significance of these watches. This thread beautifully illustrates the passion collectors have for their IWC watches, whether they are daily wearers or cherished pieces returned to their former glory.

Miss the good old days when IWC makes real tool watch with no non-sense design .
Per chance, I have my pilot chrono on today.
One I should have kept.
Is yours in steel? I have never seen this reference in steel. It is not often seen in any metal. I really love the GST line and own a few of them.
Yes, its the steel version, a little bit heavy but it feel good on the wrist anyway.
The Mark XV is probably the only watch I will never sell. Just got mine back from Schaffhausen after 20 years of happy ownership and quite a bit of abuse over the years. I recommend adding the fabulous pyramid bracelet which makes the watch even more versatile together with the buffalo strap. Not cheap but totally worth it. People praise the Nautilus bracelet for comfort but in my book the pyramid bracelet comes out ahead in that regard.
