Nicolas, known as amanico on WatchProSite, revisits the IWC Da Vinci 3754 Rattrapante Perpetual Calendar, a reference he describes as 'deliciously outdated' yet charming. His personal reflection and stunning photography of the rose gold and platinum versions offer a fresh perspective on a significant IWC complication. This article explores why this specific Da Vinci reference continues to captivate collectors two decades after its introduction.

And so deliciously charming.

Here are the rose gold,

And the two platinum versions.

I went for the platinum silver, some 20 years ago, and sadly lost it. But if I had to do it again, I would go for the blue, which adds an extra touch of fun and freshness which is very welcome.

Best,

Nicolas
