Jack Johnson's post offers a rare side-by-side comparison of IWC's Horizon Blue and Dune dials, a critical visual aid for collectors weighing these distinct aesthetic choices. His direct experience with both new releases provides invaluable insight into their presence and IWC's strategic positioning of the Horizon Blue as a white gold exclusive. This hands-on perspective helps enthusiasts understand the subtle yet significant differences that define these contemporary Portugieser models.

Just took delivery of both - and very happy with the looks. Which one would YOU go for? Horizon blue is positioned by IWC higher as it is available in WG only. Dune can be had in steel (all models except perpetual calendar) or WG (perpetual).

What's your thoughts by ordering two of the same ref in different colors? I LOVE this blue, for me more the 40mm version.

Hear you regarding Horizon blue in 40mm - a spectacular watch indeed! As of late I am trending towards bigger watches or would have possibly gone for the 40mm myself

They both look good. I tend towards the blue though. Great colour. Enjoy!

I would have a small preference for the Dune version.
