Unveiled in 1998, in a limited edition of 500 pieces, as it case backs states...

Top looking dial, which has the good taste to not display a date, which contributes to the purity of the watch, and which doesn't ruin the spirit of the original.

What do you think?

Best,

Nicolas

Why Platinum?

I never understood the reasoning behind precious metals used on tool watches. Furthermore, I personally prefer the plain look of the plain MK12. Photo borrowed from the interweb:

Good question, maybe to reinforce the specificity of this watch? The Mark 12 is a very good watch, but I would have loved to see it without... Date. ;) [nt]

Absolutely...

No date and why did they make the Platinum version without one but not the plain SS version?

BTW, the Mark 11 was without a date...

And then IWC decided to destroy the dial with the 12...😉

Yes exactly, that's why I don't like the date on the modern! [nt]

Like the exclusivity. A good watch. Aesthetically pleasing. What is the size Nico? 😊 [nt]
