Nicolas (amanico) revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre "Antoine LeCoultre" Master Eight Days Perpetual Calendar in platinum, a limited edition from 2003. His original post highlights the watch's enduring appeal, showcasing its elegant design and the impressive 8-day power reserve movement. This piece remains a significant reference for collectors interested in JLC's high-complication offerings from the early 2000s.

Sober, understated, elegant, and smart with its 8 Days power reserve movement.

The backside was not bad looking, either...

Issued in 2003 in a limited edition of 200 pieces, it was a very interesting watch, at that time, and still now!

Best,

Nicolas

nice looking one, it's really a pity we don't much more high end JLC here. [nt]

You are kidding! We have several Duometres, here, as well as a few MR, high end Reversos and even Gyrotourbillons!

You have been a long time ambassador of JLC

You know how much I do appreciate JLC and I’m a young proud owner but my point is, I’d definitely appreciate more high JLC, I don’t mean high but more. Or maybe the owners should show them more often. IMO. The duometre is stunning, I would swap a couple of mine for one
