jrwong23 (aka watchthebin) offers an exclusive look into a Jaeger-LeCoultre collectors' dinner in Singapore, highlighting the brand's dedication to fostering a close-knit community. This report provides a glimpse into the intimate gatherings where collectors share their passion and timepieces, emphasizing the personal connection to luxury watch ownership. The event also served as a farewell to a key JLC Singapore figure, underscoring the human element within the industry.

Last night, a few of us JLC collectors were invited for a dinner to share our passion for the brand and our JLC timepieces.

We were hosted by Karoline, JLC's deputy CEO, Jerome, JLC's International Director, as well as Alexis who is sadly leaving JLC Singapore for Lange to be based in Germany, and his successor, Maxence, who is the current JLC MD for South East Asia and Australia.

As each of us have to share a favorite JLC watch, I prepared this trio to share with my friends. It's hard to choose a favorite so I prepared the "French flag" of the Reverso Duoface Bleu, the tribute to 1948 and the Reverso Rouge smile

The dinner was held in a private room at Singapore's OUE Tower, Tung Le Private Dining

A great view of the Marina Bay Sands

And the Marina Bay front

We were blessed with a very nice orange moon last night. Not a full moon but beautiful nonetheless. My MUT perpetual's Moonphase passed the accuracy test smile

A welcome speech by the very entertaining Alexis. Man we will miss this guy in singapore!

Jerome mentioned that he is happy to see we have such a closely knitted JLC family in Singapore amongst collector friends.

Maxence wishing Alexis all the best and also shared stories of his own Reverso tribute to 1931's engraved case back. This reminds met that my Reveros are all not engraved yet as I don't know what to engrave. But I feel we should all do it to make our Reversos truly personalised and special to us.

Some dishes served by Tung Le, a famous Chinese restaurant chain in Singapore

Some Reversos shared in the evening. We are missing the London edition in green! A little bird told me something else is coming soon but I can't reveal for now smile

What a piece of art I saw last night! Belongs to the JLC Singapore boutique

Some Purist are such WIS. who is this guy in the pic so engrossed?!

Max with his Geophysic true second Universal Time

Johan the Retail Sales manager

My fellow JLC collectors and I had a great time last night and we are especially thankful to Karoline and Jerome who flew in to meet us. Thanks to JLC Singapore for organising this cosy and fun dinner for us. The company, food, wine and watches shared were all great!

Cheers
Robin
