Nicolas (amanico) presents an extraordinary gathering of vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Deep Sea Alarm watches, a sight rarely encountered by even the most seasoned collectors. His post showcases a 'foursome' of these highly coveted timepieces, including both European and US versions, offering a unique opportunity to compare their subtle distinctions side-by-side. This visual feast provides invaluable context for understanding the nuances of these historical diving instruments.

It's funny that due to the rarity of these watches online in the early 2000s / 2010s in the early days of watch-internet, the "grey bezel" has become the norm of how people see vintage DSAs. But these grey bezels were actually a batch of redone / restored bezels that didn't turn as expected by the person who commissionned them at the time. In this picture, the original bezels are the black / brown ones
Deeply pleasing.
