From a distance this watch looks plain and boring - however this is far from the truth. It’s a watch that fills me with passion for horology, refined design and purity of the spirit.

The Geomatic  - It’s a technical watch with a refined chronometer movement.

The case is probably one of the most refined watch cases I have come across in terms of sculpting this rather thick watch in to something that is very slim and elegant. This is also why it is important, if you buy one, that you get a very good condition and preferably unpolished specimen.

The slim profile you will be seeing on your wrist.

Mine has a few nicks but it is still unpolished. Exactly what I love.

I should clean it and shoot some macros with a my loupe soon. I genuinely believe this watch is overlooked and a sleeper.

Very nice. If it ever becomes

too boring for you I guess I could make a sacrifice and wear it for you for a while. Let me know.

How right you are about this watch and your advices. It is one of my favorite vintage JLC. Did you know that the gold versio had a different case?

A superb reference, which has more character in steel, and more refinement in gold. Best, Nicolas
