I made a promise to myself, about a few watches, such as the Vintage Rolex GMT, the Vintage Fifty Fathoms, or the JLC Deep Sea Alarm, Memovox, Polaris, and ... Geophysic.

Each time I see one, I must try to take some photos, in order to, one day, make a compilation of them.

This time, the one I saw is certainly one of the nicest.

All is correct, on this one, from the plexy and the round radium dots, to the hands, dial and case back.

The only thing which is missing is the famous blue sticker, on the case back.

But the case is in superb condition, as well as the dial and hands, which is rarer.

Enjoy these few pictures, now:

Case number is 747 xxx, while movement number is 1 276 xxx.

Best to all of you, Geophysic Fans.

Nicolas.

Who is speaking, eeeh?

Just after seeing you posting your fab duo of Vacheron watches... ;) But you're right, the Geophysique is a GREAT watch, a must have, IMO. Best, Nicolas

Wonderful watch ...

Very nice balance between the dial and hands. How rare is this watch? any idea about production numbers and time frame? Thanks for the pics of this classic. Nilo

Easy...

From 1958 to 1961... And around 1400 watches made, ALL metals included ( SS, YG and RG ), including the " De Luxe " versions, without soft iron dust cover. But how many survived, this is another question... I posted a review on the Geophysic, if you want to read it. Best, Nilo.
