Nicolas (amanico) brings to light the Jaeger-LeCoultre Grand Réveil, a horological marvel from the late 1980s that pioneered the integration of a Memovox alarm with a perpetual calendar. This article explores the audacious spirit of JLC in combining such complex mechanisms during an era when few manufacturers dared to innovate in this manner, offering a fresh perspective on a significant vintage reference.

The first Memovox with a perpetual calendar. Late 80's.

Who else dare making such combinations of complications, at that time???

Best,

Nicolas

What is the large red-arrow hand indicate?

It's amazing to see a watch like this as it has design notes that I would typically associate with UN and Blancpain.
