Nicolas (amanico) revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Grande Tradition Gyrotourbillon Three, highlighting its groundbreaking features upon its release. His original post serves as a critical look at the watch's design choices, particularly the integration of a digital chronograph and the omission of a day-night indicator. This discussion remains pertinent for collectors interested in the evolution of high horology and JLC's innovative spirit.

The third opus of the Gyrtourbillon was quite spectacular. Cylindrical blue spring, tourbillon on multi axis, digital chronograph. At the point it was not necessary ( and a bit our of purpose ) ro have a day night indicator, here.

Impressive!

I donโ€™t remember having seen any digital chronograph (in a mechanical watch, of course). Or I didnโ€™t pay attention. But I like the idea!
