Nicolas (amanico) presents a rare photographic compilation of Jaeger-LeCoultre's groundbreaking Gyrotourbillon series, capturing the first four iterations in a single frame. This visual testament underscores JLC's unparalleled mastery in multi-axis tourbillons, a horological feat few brands can claim. His post invites collectors to reflect on JLC's enduring legacy as 'the watchmaker's watchmaker' and its significant technical contributions since 2004.

That was in 2017, which explains that the Gyrotourbillon Five is missing, on the picture:

No wonder why Jaeger Lecoultre is the Watchmaker's watchmakers. How many brand can claim being mutli-axis specialists? With such an horological content? With so many technical achievements?

Of course, nothing nor no one is perfect. We'd love to see more " affordable " wonders, too.

Still, since 2004, Jaeger Lecoultre revived with a glorious past. That is indisputable.

Best,

Nicolas

Nr. 5 is great too, but it‘s much more busy. At Nr 1 the focus is only on the beautiful tourbillon…

Yes and the discreet perpetual calendar, and the equation of time. Without forgetting the 8 Days movement.

Full respect is due for such mechanical accomplishments…

and more so for the class and refinement with which JLC is able to execute each of these. Are they all platinum? Which is your favorite? That’s a hard choice.
