And the wide spectrum of their watches.

From the most complicated: Hybris Artistica à Grande Sonnerie ( around 20 complications ) in a 44 mm case, circa 15 mm high.

To the simplest and thinnest expression of horology: MUT 39mm, 4, 05 mm thin.

And it has always been like that!

Ultra Thin pocket watch 1907:

Grande Complication 1928:

Well, what is between these 2 extremes is not uninteresting, either!

Best,

Nicolas

This is exactly why JLC is maybe my favourite manufacture.

Longue vie à JLC.

Diversity can be a good thing. I will launch a series of threads, from time to time, about diversity. [nt]

Interesting view.. From one of the most complex ( & thick) to the appeal of the thinnest, time only, no secs.. LGM is at least very special, based on your two extremes.. ;))

Yet, I guess, there will be others for both ends, such as PP,or Breguet.. Thx for illucidating, Best, hs

By far not the thickest, for a Grande Complication housing some 1400 parts! ;) [nt]
