Ultra Thin ( well for this kind of complications),

And an uber original and magnificent movement, for an automatic one.

Best,

About the Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica 11 Ref. Q1293420

The Jaeger-LeCoultre Hybris Mechanica 11, also known as the Master Ultra Thin Minute Repeater Flying Tourbillon, stands as a testament to the brand's enduring legacy in high horology. Introduced in 2014, this timepiece emerged from a lineage of groundbreaking complications, building upon Jaeger-LeCoultre's extensive archives of minute repeaters and ultra-thin movements. It represents the pinnacle of the brand's technical prowess within the esteemed Hybris Mechanica collection, a series dedicated to pushing the boundaries of mechanical watchmaking. Its development underscored JLC's commitment to innovation while honoring its historical contributions to complex calibers.

Technically, the Hybris Mechanica 11 is a marvel, housing the manual-winding Calibre 362, which at its launch was notable for being the world's thinnest minute repeater movement. The watch integrates a flying tourbillon at 6 o'clock, visible through an aperture, alongside a sophisticated minute repeater mechanism featuring JLC's patented "trebuchet" hammers and a silent regulator, parts of which are revealed through strategically placed openings on the finely grained silver dial. The design language is one of understated elegance, with dauphine hands and minimalist hour markers complementing the intricate mechanical display, all encased within a slender 39mm white gold case.

As a limited-production piece, the Hybris Mechanica 11 occupies a significant position in the collector's market. It appeals to connoisseurs who appreciate the fusion of extreme technical complexity with refined aesthetics. Its status as a record-breaking ultra-thin minute repeater with a flying tourbillon ensures its place as a highly sought-after example of haute horlogerie. The watch not only showcases Jaeger-LeCoultre's mastery in crafting grand complications but also serves as a benchmark for innovation and design in contemporary watchmaking, making it a valuable acquisition for serious collectors.

Thank you for the link!

It sounds pretty good, but the ambiance music in the background ruins the experience! Best, Emmanuel

It doesn’t have the Cathedral Gongs found on some JLC repeaters ….

… so the sound is not as rich, but it’s very bright with nice tone and volume. My wrist is 17.2cm so it’s very wearable.
