Dear Jaeger fans! I am happy to introduce a new acquisition! The hybris mechanica line was something I always dreamed of, especially a piece with a skychart. I remember well seeing pictures of the first iteration of the Grande Complication when I thougt: „How the hell does this balance wheel move over the dial like floating?“ because different pictures showed different positions of the flying tourbillon balance wheel.
While searching for a Master Minute Repeater, I came over a piece of this first iteration of the Grande Complication. The newer versions might have smoother cases and even better chiming sound. But I like the first iteration more because of the white gold case. Red gold in my opinion is too much with the blue sky.
And the guilloche of the sky shining in the sun is sooo great in this one.

So I took a long drive to view the piece in flesh. Wow, how loud and crystal clear this minute repeater is. smile ! The escape wheel is made of silicium paired with a Breguet overcoil in the flying tourbillon. As good as it gets!!!! And this paired with a calendar including zodiacs!
The strap is not the right one yet, but this will change soon...

Yours, P.!

Congrats on getting so an amazing watch!!!

It is one of my all time fav watches in the entire world!! I love how poetical it is and how it focuses on the artistry of watchmaking over the utility and functionality. it is one of the most beautiful watches out there and def one of my favs from the Jeager brand! Enjoy your new baby in good health, happiness, and prosperity! P.S. please share more pictures and videos, especially if you have a loupe!
