Nicolas (amanico) initiates a compelling discussion on the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Memovox Caliber 914, questioning if its design and features approach horological perfection. His detailed breakdown of the 36mm case, black dial, and exhibition case back invites collectors to re-evaluate this specific reference. This article synthesizes community insights, offering a deeper understanding of its unique position within JLC's storied alarm watch lineage.

36 mm case: Good for me. Even if I wouldn't mind getting a 38 / 39 mm case.

Black Dial: all good, Especially with depth and warmth.

See through case back: Here,  a clear YES! Because we have to see something uncommon, a manual winding modern JLC movement.

JLC, do you hear?

Best,

Nicolas

This particular model is a stunner and not easy to track down. Would make perfect sense for a re-issue

Except diameter which is only a circumstance of my large wrist. Lucky for those with the right wrist size.
