Blomman Mr Blue shares the culmination of a long-term collecting quest, adding a rare black vintage Memovox to his impressive collection. This post captures the excitement of acquiring a highly sought-after piece and offers a glimpse into the dedication required to build a themed collection of vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre alarm watches.
Friends,
You may remember this photo of some black Memovox.
Some may think it’s a great display of the black sports memos from JLC…
For me it’s just that - but also a reminder of what I am still missing!

Well, I have been traveling again.
This time there was no snowstorm, no hardship – only pure pleasure!
I was received by a dear friend, welcomed into his home.
Meeting his lovely family, enjoying a very traditional English meal with roast beef and Yorkshire puddings – delicious!
Talking about and viewing wonderful watches…
As always when we meet, forget about time and almost miss my flight back home…
But I did make my flight and not only that…
With me home I had this Grail watch!
A perfect match for the older sister…
Next joy is to find good strap(s)…
A homage to Nilo’s silhouette shot’s (far from as nice, but it’s hard to hold the camera still when you are freezing you’re a.. off!).
There is one detail on this watch I will come back to and discuss with you here…
But for now I will only enjoy this lovely lady!
I only had a few hours on the ground, but what a wonderful day!
Thank you for all the help, dear friend!
Here they are together at last…
Hope you all are enjoying the Holidays!
Best
Blomman

Can't wait to see what is this detail... The date engraved inside the case back? BRAVO, Blomman, and also to our common friend, who is an uncommon friend. ;) Best, Nicolas.
Date 6-67, according to info I got, not many were made in 1967. A clean and beautiful K 825 inside. Need to gather some more info and taking some better pics before go into details... And yes - without our friend, life would be much less...! Best Blomman
