Team,

As some of you here already know, about one focus point of my

collection efforts are the JLC Memovoxes and I just recently thought to quickly

browse through this part of my stables for some of them,

specifically the early times and models. Here to start our view & little time-travel:

As a beginning here JLC Ref. 3150, an early Memovox of the early 50ies, typical for her tubular, "hooded lugs", which define

this very Reference in a characteristic way;

The 3150 was released 1950, introduced for the first time at the Basel Fair.

My joy was even bigger, as here she is, a  Memovox, from
the mid 50ies, which has a great dial with a two-toned
patina, ranging from light cream to a champagne-type,
and wonderful blued hands.

Find here the example pic from my stables, including some advertisment from the

Basel introduction in 1950.

Here the JLC E3150

Here now, to switch gear a bit, another small delicacy, the JLC E159, (in fact belonging to my dear wife, now for more than 10yrs), and
in a very nice condition, with this greenish patina

After quite some intense search (in fact for more than 5 years), eventually -  another one for me, to make the pair of E159..

It’s really a big pleasure to look down on her and the harmony of the black dial with the patinated indices & pointers is indeed
a joy for me..

Here a smallish (34mm) Duo: the E159 (rt) and another early MMV, the E 851 (left), a charming pair IMHO.
This E 159 came to me from a dear friend, who parted from her, and I was happy,
he considered me a good house for her. ( You know, who you are..), - Thx a lot !

Thus, finally above here together this Duo of these two smallish timekeepers, which however
are true JLC Vintage pleasures for me to wear & look down on them.

Rendering a small but convincing spell..

Here therefore now, another 2nd little delicacy, from 1956, when she was presented

in recognition of participation of the recipient in a hunt for elks:

JLC Memovox Ref 851, Cal 489/1, diam: 34

Hope you liked the little excursion:

smaller pieces, can generate big pleasures..
At least for me..

Cheers & Best,
