The Polaris, revisited in a funky way by Jaeger Lecoultre.

Interesting to see the different wording, depending on the Lecoultre or Jaeger Lecoultre, on the Alarm Disc: HPG stands for High Precision Guaranteed, GT for Grande Taille, probably, as the case is 43 mm big.

The movement inside: Cal 28, 800 vibrations per hour, which offered a better precision ( HPG ) and using a classic rotor, not the bumper which was the apanage of the Cal 815 / 825, beating at 18, 000 alternances per hour.

Now, the only thing I don't know is how many were made in blue, in grey and in red, I mean for each of these colors.

I still miss the Red, I most often see the Blue. That's my own observation.

Anyway, this is a still young, funny and pleasant watch!

Best,

Nicolas

One of the most unique vintage

Extraordinarily designed . My favorite is the grey. The Blue is flamboyant cool if you can cary it

In summer, the blue is not a problem at all. I love both of them. I just want to find the Red to take the family picture! ;) [nt]

Some other brands used the same case. I still have to find who made this case, by the way. [nt]
