Finally saw this in the metal today ! A prototype sent to Singapore for customers to try it in the metal.

Very cool on the wrist. The bracelet and watch feels hefty and sturdy enough yet elegant. The Milanese bracelet is indeed like a second skin, silky yet not too thin or flimsy. Not too thick either and it’s really right at the sweet spot.

The watch on the wrist feels hefty enough for a full gold bracelet watch for those who like some heft on the wrist, despite the watch case being so thin. I guess part of the reason is no links are removed or cut so you get the full weight of the watch in its original bracelet length, even for those with small wrists like me.

But for me, I didn’t order this. Instead, another jlc Reverso novelty I tried for the second time made me fall in love and there is a piece for purchase today. I spent good amount of time in the jlc boutique in Singapore with both these watches and in the end , my heart went with the other one… which I will share in another post tomorrow
