At the SIHH, some of us asked JLC to release a short version of the very same Reverso, in steel.

2 years after, the Tribute to Reverso 1948 was born. Grained dial, applied BLUE hour markers, double indices at 12 instead of 12, and Jaeger-Lecoultre Fabriqué en Suisse instead of " Reverso ", these are the main differences between these two.

Two very appealing Reversos, I must say.

Which one do you prefer?

Best,

Nicolas

The frosted dial is a sight to behold

...as I learned from my Perpetual. So my vote goes to the WG, even though I prefer the price point of the steel. Thanks for these wonderful pics!

My pleasure, my friend.

Actually, both have the grained dial.

Oh! For some reason I always thought it was lacquered!

Then int his case, I like the layout of the steel and the full writing of Jaeger Lecoultre on the steel.

No problem. No, I wonder if I don't like just the Reverso name more... [nt]

I'd prefer the first one

Think the WG is a bit more classic. The blue markers are a too funky for me and this kind of watch I think.

The blue is more subtle in the real. [nt]
