Nicolas (amanico) revisits the Jaeger-LeCoultre Tribute to Reverso 1948, a model released in 2013 that he considers a "forgotten star." His post highlights the watch's enduring appeal, focusing on its slim profile and distinctive dial. This article delves into why this particular Reverso reference continues to captivate collectors years after its introduction.

Not that old, as this watch was issued in 2013, if my memory serves me well.

What do I like on this Reverso? The Thin case ( 7, 2 mm ), and... The dial, which has a very pleasant depth.

One of the forgotten Reverso stars.

Best,

Nicolas

True. I really like this one, and I find it not fair that we don't see it more often. [nt]

+1.

Rectangular sub seconds > circular. But do you prefer with or without a seconds hand on a Reverso? That is the question! I suppose a โ€œsportsโ€ watch should have a seconds hand. But is a Reverso still a sports watch these days?

Depends on the occasion

For formal - two hander preferable, Casual - sub seconds acceptable

I would rather say that these Reverso play both the formal and the casual cards. [nt]
