In this 2015 post, blomman Mr Blue offers a hands-on look at the JeanRichard Aeroscope collection from Salon Belles Montres, focusing on its new NATO strap variations. He highlights the watch's substantial yet comfortable presence on the wrist, emphasizing its design and material choices.
Friends,
This weekend at Salon Belles Montres I had a quick stop at the JeanRichard booth.
As always a great pleasure to meet the JeanRichard team!
Time was short but one of the models presented were the JeanRichard Aeroscope on the new nato strap.
With the 44 mm sandblasted titanium case the Aeroscope is a quite big sports watch with a nice presence on the wrist!
But not as heavy as you may think which makes it very comfortable on the wrist.
The new collection holds three versions –
Grey dial with black nato strap.
The metal details are also made out of brushed titanium.
And the buckle is very nice made with the JR logo on.
Next is the black dial with striped nato.
The strap matching the color scheme of the dial – black, red and light grey.
The third is the white dial with blue nato strap.
I find these skeleton hands best on the white dial version.
One detail I really like is that JeanRichard opted for a solid case back on these Aeroscope!
Makes the Aeroscope a much more coherent sports watch, IMO.

of the three, the white looks best to me. I think it's good that even in this price range, there is a quality mechanical movement and quality case work, so I think this will find its market. CC
Yes, here the quality / price ratio is very good! Best Blomman
i have felt for 4-5 years that they are producing watches a bit above their market category, and these confirm it. Readable is a good thing! Cheers, Cazalea
Yes, last few years JR have really upped their quality! Best Blomman
Do they use GP or third party movements? Nice sports watches, though!
They call the caliber JR60. If not in-house, I guess they do the finishing and assembling them self. Best Blomman
