Kolosstt seeks community opinion on three distinct world timer watches with additional complications: the Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor W-Alarm 46 Valentino Rossi, the Girard Perregaux ww.tc Financial, and the Zenith Doublematic. He invites PuristS to rank these timepieces based on their features, design, and overall appeal, sparking a lively debate on their respective merits.

Than GP JLC last Best D
both with an alarm (very useful for travelling), but come in completely different design languages. The Zenith has the added chronograph and is a real bang for the buck. Best, Magnus
So I have a huge sweet-spot for the JLC. But it is certainly loud! These are hugely subjective and I am even arguing with myself on them but: Overall wearability (matching to clothes and occasions) I would go with: 1: GP 2: Zenith 3: JLC Movement: 1: Zenith 2: JLC 3: GP Fun Factor: 1: JLC 2: Zenith 3: G-P Which one would most love to find under my sofa cushion: 1: JLC 2: GP 3: Zenith Final Scores: 1: JLC 2: Zenith 3: GP
what are you going for? sport? then jlc. and i have an extreme world chrono: they are great. if you're going for reserved and elegant: gp hands down. classic style with beautiful proportions. the zenith just doesn't come together for me. looks like a blob. think of the relative weight too. if it's heavy on your wrist, that will be a problem if you wear it all day long. chris
Personally I am a BIG fan of JLC Memovox - but that model is one of the few modern Memovox I never went for due to its size and comfort... The Zenith doesn't do it for me, I find the dial unbalanced... This version of the Traveller is very high up on my wish list... But the most important is what you like! Best Blomman
I would go for the GP. It has more charm. Best, Nicolas
