The watch I had chosen was the Vingt 8 with enamel "illusion" dial when I met Kari in Motiers in September last year. I had mentioned that I actually like Power Reserves and was sad he didn't do one. One the screen he showed me what I now know was 001.

I said yes and today I have no 5 in platinum and the only enamel one produced yet. Extremely difficult and technologically challenging for him I think the result speaks for itself.

The watch is just so much more beautiful in the metal abd it's really hard to photograph. I took some huge risks with the dial but I think it worked out! [nt]
