Schen shares a mysterious image of an upcoming watch, sparking community speculation about its brand and complications before its official unveiling. His initial guesses point towards complex functions like UTC, equation of time, or world time, setting the stage for an intriguing horological reveal.

While mostly into vintage watches these days, I am still constantly following modern watchmaking... A few days ago, I was intrigued by a friend who showed me this picture:

Apparently this is a brand new watch that I have never seen before. The dial and the contour of the case look very nice, though most of the watch is mysteriously in the dark, on purpose for sure. I am actually more curious about the movement, as my friend said it might come with some interesting mechanism and functions -- my initial guess from the picture was UTC plus equation of time, perhaps also world time or something else and different?

Anyway, I was told it would be unveiled on the 20th of this month. Can't wait to find out...

Cheers,

-Song

But I think instead of being program for a city it could be given by input your latitude on the sector at 6 (we can see “60° north”) and your longitude on the subdial at 12 (we can wee a graduation from 0 to 180 and at

Unveiled today: and quite a few popular watch blog sites. Very interesting and truly complicated, and expensive too.
