I must say, it was a very interesting experience and we saw some nice ladies watches over time. We were limited in our choice due to her set requirements, but that is also very helpful as otherwise there may very well be never an end to this story.
Conclusion, we found one and a fairly unexpected one I must say....TADAAAAAAAA!!!

How did we end up with this one, you ask? Good question, since it was much unexpected for us as well.
Upon leaving the stores in part deux, we discussed which watch she really liked and looked at the various pictures we made. It appeared that the AP was weighing heavy on her mind, and we thought to have another try at the Cartier Panthere and two tone GP Laureato (without diamond bezel). The Panthere seemed to be the most appropriate fit and they did not have the two tone GP, so she tried the ss one with grey/black dial and diamond bezel. It looked nice, very nice, but again, it did not match the requirements.

Oh, by the way…a quick sidestep…we attended an ALS event and she tried on the lady saxonia 35 mm with mother of pearl dial……she was sold. But then, I reminded her…if you are looking at strap then we should look at other watches as well to give them a fair chance. So she went back to her initial requirements. However, she said, next one on strap should be the Lange ...uh-oh.
Not the best pic I made unfortunately.

One way or the other Bulgari came to mind, so I did a search on Bulgari and found the LVCEAU watch and said, we should go have a look. The LVCEA was nice, but not as good as what we thought it would be. And then it happened, the saleslady said to have a look at the Serpenti and my wife said…not interested! However, as we would pass by the serpenti in order to leave the store, the saleslady said, just have a look and try it. And…..….DONE!
IMHO, the watch sits beautiful on her wrist and I believe she made a good choice. Yes, it is not haute horology, but then again, it is about her and what she likes.
Thank you all so much for your support, advice and suggestions! I leave you with one more pic of her Bulgari...
Kind regards,
Sc16

and commiserations to your wallet and congrats to her wrist - best, Horo
It is something different vs the rest...i am impressed though..
so that will also come...time will tell. Thanks for the congrats...
My wife also recently purchased a similar Bvlgari model and loves it over her other watches. We don't see it frequently on the street in fancy Singapore - so it's good differentiation Hope your wife loves it too! Peter
that you don't see it frequently - it makes it stand out on its own. She loves it..thanks so much
