Nicolas (amanico) brings to light a captivating, limited-edition set from the early 2000s: the A. Lange & Söhne Grande Lange One Luna Mundi in Platinum and Rose Gold. This post offers a rare glimpse into a unique horological offering, prompting a discussion among collectors about its design nuances and historical significance. Nicolas's original photography showcases the intricate details of these charming, though sometimes debated, timepieces.

And the grand size suits my wrist better. I’ll take them both, thanks!
Being from the southern hemisphere, I really wanted to like these when they were first released - but I couldn’t get over the fact the movement is too small for the case, ruining the Lange 1 promise of no overlapping features on the dial… Interestingly, the pink gold version has 4 additional parts in order to reverse the direction of rotation of the moon phase disc.
And thanks for the detail on the RG one 👏🏻👍🏻
