DonCorson provides a comprehensive overview of Louis Moinet's novelties at BaselWorld 2013, focusing on their distinctive cases, dials, and limited edition chronographs. This report highlights the brand's commitment to unique aesthetics and horological craftsmanship, particularly their tourbillons with rare stone dials. It serves as a valuable historical snapshot of Louis Moinet's offerings from a decade ago.

Louis Moinet at BaselWorld 2013

Louis Moinet is continuing on its voyage with its very distictive cases and dials.  This year they showed several limited edition chronographs dedicated to sports figures.
The Mechanograph is chronometer tested and shows the escapement from the dial side.
The top of the line continues to be the tourbillon supplied by Concepto with unique dials of interesting rock formations or highly engraved.
Check out that opal dial.  I have rarely seen the likes of it.

I do like the new Mecanographs, and they a reasonably priced. But is it just me, or does anyone else see a "Top Cat" face or is it a "Hello Kitty" face on every dial? ;).

would i be correct in thinking that moves Don? i also like the mechanographs, but now its been mentioned i do see the hello kitty outline. not overly impressed with the chrono's as i'm just not a fan of 'personality' watches. its not the brand as i dont like any watch made with some current(or non current) sports personalities signature on it. thanks for the pics Don. best Graham.
