I think this will be my only watch for Watches & Wonders this year. It’s a conversation starter and also will be a sort of a “business card” very effectively summarizing where I am now in my watch journey.

About the MB&F Legacy Machine Perpetual Ref. 04.TL.G

The Legacy Machine Perpetual represents MB&F's interpretation of classical perpetual calendar complications within their distinctive horological universe. Launched as part of the Legacy Machine collection, this piece demonstrates Maximilian BĂĽsser's vision of reimagining traditional haute horlogerie through contemporary design language. The LM Perpetual stands as one of the more complex offerings in MB&F's catalog, bridging the gap between the brand's avant-garde Horological Machines and more classically inspired Legacy Machine pieces.

The technical execution centers around a flying balance wheel suspended above the dial plane, creating the signature three-dimensional architecture that defines the Legacy Machine series. The perpetual calendar displays are integrated into the lower portion of the dial, with the characteristic MB&F aesthetic of elevated mechanical elements and open-worked construction. The titanium case construction reduces weight while maintaining structural integrity necessary for the complex movement architecture, with the distinctive domed sapphire crystal providing optimal visibility of the multi-level dial construction.

As an independent manufacture piece, the LM Perpetual occupies the upper echelon of contemporary collecting, appealing to enthusiasts who appreciate both mechanical complexity and design innovation. The titanium variant offers a more accessible entry point compared to precious metal versions while maintaining the technical sophistication expected from MB&F. Production numbers remain limited, ensuring exclusivity within the broader perpetual calendar market segment dominated by traditional Swiss manufacturers.

Will try to attend that event though I am too tech illiterate to do live-streaming.
