amanico introduces the MB&F Legacy Machine Thunderdome, a horological marvel featuring a triple-axis tourbillon by Eric Coudray and movement decoration by Kari Voutilainen. This post highlights the watch's impressive technical specifications and striking aesthetics, available in platinum and a limited tantalum edition for The Hour Glass. Readers are invited to consider the wearability and overall impact of this significant independent watchmaking collaboration.

Another mad creation from Max Busser and Friends, here, the Legacy Machine Thunderdome, in platinum, in a limited edition of 33 pieces,  and in tantalum, which is a limited edition of 10 pieces for The Hour Glass.

Here you have a Triple Axis Tourbillon, created and developed by an old acquaintance, Eric Coudray, the father of the Jaeger Lecoultre Master Gyrotourbillon One, 15 years ago, while the movement decoration has to be credited to Kari Voutilainen.

The case is big, 44 mm, and very high ( 22, 2 mm ) due to the hyper domed sapphire glass, which may be hard to wear, but which lets place to the triple axis tourbillon.

The dial is a guillochĂ© blue.

Impressive beast, but I guess it has to be seen in the metal, to judge the proportions.

The platinum:

And... The Tantalum, which is my favorite, here:

Once again, to be seen in the metal, before any final judgement.

What do you think?

I really like what I see and I like the people involved. It looks really good. I also think it is more a showpiece than a wrist watch. Certainly not for everyone, but some collectors/ collections have room for that.

I do agree with many of the people here in that it would be very unwearable but I also think that this is a statement piece and so it would be a shame if it went under the shirt cuff. It is outrageously awesome. I am very interested to see some more hands-on reviews

the mix between Coudray and Voutilainen makes it a masterpiece although the dimensions seem to make it too difficult to wear 🤦‍♂️
